Repujado workshops

Repujado, a traditional craft in Latin America is emerging as a new artform in the U.S. Carla-Marie Weir, member of the Oak Cliff Artisans, learned the Spanish Colonial artform in Venezeuela 2 years ago. Using thin sheets of metal, the artist decorates wooden objects such as crosses, frames and plaques.

In collaboration with the Latino Cultural Center, Carla is providing an introductory 3 week series of in-studio workshops. They wil be held the first three saturdays of December, from 11:30-2:30, at the Latino Cultural Center, Latino Cultural Center 2600 Live Oak (@ Good Latimer), Dallas, TX 75204, TX.

Take this fun, hands-on workshop and leave with several pieces of art, just in time for holiday giving! Registration and reservations are required and space is limited.
